Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (Communication Error semi-fix)

I’ve seeing this error a lot, and I believe I may have a way to fix it (maybe?)

This is an error that occurs 100% of the time on Online matches in With Friends (and rarely in For Friends/For Glory), making it impossible to even play with others

The issue seems to lie in the save data itself

To fix it, you would need to select your smash bros save, and move it to your system (if you use a USB device to store the data (or an actual good flash drive in this case..)

It’s a simple fix to the problem I had (and probably stupid of me on my end), but it really shows that you should try to get an external hard drive that is recommended by Nintendo on their support pages. I spent an entire month and a half not knowing why I couldn’t play online \;

  • Resolution:

-For the first time in Smash Bros. History, the game will be playable in High Definition (1080p)

  • 8-Player Smash:

-A Special mode made for specific stages in the game
-Designed for local multiplayer (cannot be used with online features)
-Temple (melee) is supported with 8-Player Smash
-Big BattleField introduced for 8-Player Smash
  • New Game Modes:
Smash Tour

-Smash Tour is a new game mode exclusive for Wii-U

-It’s a board-game like mode where you use a Mii to play, and advance across the board to collect fighters  to use in battle, and also collect power-ups much like Smash Run. If players meet up on the same space, all fighters will be forced to face off against each other.

-The mode ends with a Final Battle, which is a stock battle

Nintendo announces Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Direct for Thursday (10/23)

Catch a livestream event on October 23 at 3 pm PT. We will share new details about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, which launches on November 21.

A Nintendo Direct has been announced for taking place later this week highlighting 50 Must-See Things, which all will be shown during the live event.

Perhaps it will give insight to the new game modes shown through one of the most recent POTD’s, and more game details that were covered in Amazon’s accidental slip-up.
